Killer Bees contest from ECGX 2004

This video was shot at ECGX 1 which took place on September 11th 2004 in Philly, PA. Our booth was a hit because of our unique choice to put a playable Odyssee 2 on the table with the excellent Killer Bees. Our high score contest for this game was one of the most popular we've had. The following clip aired on episode 8, we hope you enjoy it.

Photographs 1.02.07

We've had a great time creating gamebot over the years, and have made a lot of friends that made the events and trips a blast. Most of these photos come from those outings. Some of the photos, conversely are from fond classic video game memories...

Bally Pin:
Bally Pin for the Astrocade from our 12/17/06 playing spree in Scott's basement. The pictures were taken by Jordan Pike of jordanpike.com. Read more about it on the news page.

Top secret episode:
This is the corner where we play hundreds of classic video games located in (location 1). This the only known photo; taken by Jordan on 12/17/07. In this corner we play everything ranging from pong systems to Sega CD. Including Atari, Intellivision, NES, TI-99, Arcadia 2001, Sega Master System and much much more. The hand pictured here is holding a Bally Astrocade controller, look closely...

Meeting Ralph:
These photos were taken at the VGXPO 2005 in Fort Washington, PA. It was a real privilege to meet Ralph Baer, who invented the first interactive game that used a television as a display unit in 1962. This "Brown Box" prototype was later turned into the Odyssee, the first video game system. It is because of these breakthoughs that Ralph Baer is considered the father of video games.

The mindmasters:
These photos were taken in the car while visiting Cinciclassic 2005 in Cincinnati, Ohio. In his defense, Scott's picture was taken at a terrible hour. My photo was snapped while we were driving around taking in the scenery. I was busy playing Animal Crossing but I heard it was beautiful.
